Here are a few things to think about:Invites – When you get your theme picked out get your invitations in the mail. Your Mardi Gras invitations should be in the mail at least two weeks before the party. If possible you might want to consider sending them out three weeks in advance especially if it is a busy time of year for parties, like Christmas or Halloween. Use a special invitation and personalize it as much as possible.

Drinks – Stock up on beer, wine, booze and soft drinks. Come up with a signature drink that fits in with your party theme and serve them up all night. Be sure to get plenty of soft drinks and water for the people that don’t drink or need to take a bit of a break.
