Hi, my name is Ally and I'm twenty-two. I'm a Marijuana Law Reform activist and an Executive Assistant from Orange County, New York. I'm also a full-time Communication Disorders student and freelance web and graphic designer. Take Me Nowhere is an informational blog about Marijuana, including Law Reform, Medicinal Usage, and the Cannabis Culture. The Drug Policy Alliance is the nation’s leading organization working to end the war on drugs, with over 100,000 supporters and eight offices nationwide. They released this video about a year ago, so you may have already seen it. Either way, it’s worth watching again.
Tell Congress it is time for a new bottom line in U.S. drug policy, one that focuses on reducing the problems associated with both drugs and the war on drugs. Take action at drugpolicy.org.
Ally is a full-time student majoring in Communication Disorders. She spends her time as a dedicated activist and blogger for marijuana law reform and is the Executive Assistant for Woman Tribune, a webspace for women. She lives in Orange County, NY where she is a practicing Wiccan and shares her life with her psycho hamster, Chouji, and boyfriend, Pugz. She is currently launching her first business, Ally McCoy Media, a web and graphic design firm.
We’re spending way too much money on the war on drugs. It’s silly. Marijuana is no more dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol. We can really use the money spent on this “war” to fund schooling.
