Vandling or Bust

I am leaving in less than 7 hours to visit Holly for the weekend. /cheer My bus leaves at 5:45am and arrives at the Port Authority in New York City at 7:30. I have to wait an hour in the city, then catch a bus at 8:30 to Pennsylvania. I’ll arrive in Scranton around 11:05am, and hopefully Holly and Allen will be there waiting for me. >.>

It’s only 11 o’clock now and I am already packed – all I have to do is burn a few CD’s for the ride. I can’t go to sleep because a) I’m too excited to sleep and b) I know I won’t wake up in time to make the bus. :B I should have waited to pack everything so I’d have something to do to keep me up… Think I’ll make myself a pot of coffee and play Final Fantasy for a few hours before I have to take a shower and get ready to leave.

We will be having a best friend, girls only weekend, with the exception of Allen chauffeuring our asses around. I am entirely too thrilled. /dance I’m sure the time will be filled with getting fucked up, eating pizza, take-out, and junk food, watching movies, talking shit, having pillow fights in our underwear… You know, usual girly sleepover stuff.

I will be back sometime Sunday with lots of pictures.

I woke up thinking that it was too late and you were waiting in Scranton for me for hours. Mind you, it was still dark outside and so that could not be right. I’m excited! My house is a mess so I guess I have to clean up a little and take a bath because smelly Holly is no good. It’s 7:15am now and I have to leave to get you in a little over 3 hours. Weee!

[...] I had a very peaceful weekend and if you noticed the lapse in updates here, you could conclude that my peaceful weekend had nothing to do with the computer or the internet or the news or politics. My weekend included nothing but my pulled out couch, a ton of blankets, pillows, coffee, whatever food I could throw together and pass off as a meal of sorts, movies, season one of Six Feet Under and my nearest and dearest. Oooh! Slumber party goodness! I wanna go too! Have fun in Scranton. I’ve been there before but can’t remember much about it.
