To be jolly? Yea right. More like ’tis the season to be a douche bag! I hate this time of year. It’s supposed to be “the most wonderful time of the year” but it’s really the exact opposite. Everyone is so selfish and greedy and rude. I can’t stand it.

I’ve been trying to keep myself busy over the past couple of days. Cousin E and I have gone shopping with The Monster a few times – She had to pick up a few last minute gifts for people, and I decided to tag along. Bad idea.

We’ve gone to WalMart, Target, and the dollar store and I felt the need to go on a killing spree after five minutes in each store. After almost getting into five accidents and spending an hour trying to find a place to park, we walk into a cluster fuck of assholes. Nobody pays attention to where they’re going. Children are running and screaming and wreaking havoc while parents are screaming and beating each other over who gets the last Hannah Montana toy. It’s complete and utter chaos and I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

I managed to get some goodies though.

• New reading glasses (My prescription glasses are about 11 years old and don’t do a damn thing for me anymore…)
• Thirteen pairs of the cutest underwear in all of existence
• Twenty pairs of adorable socks
• Fingerless gloves with mitten-tops attached
• Picture frame with paw prints and ‘meow’ written all over
• Four cute bras
• 120 sticks of incense (lavender, peppermint, and vanilla)
• Mini massager
• Flannel girly boxers
• Two camisoles with built-in bras (for sleeping)
• A bright pink bandana
• Two things of lip gloss (Burt’s Bees and Blistex Deep Renewal)
• Probably more that I’m forgetting…
